HOW TO KEEP GOING

Maya Angelou, said that she learned that making a living is not the same thing as making a life. I totally agree.

With this being said, we must learn how to keep going, by seeing ourself the way we want to be first,

then put it in action. When we get discouraged, we must regroup, look within ourself, see what's really happening that discourages us from
moving on. We must learn to be honest, don't make excuses or feel
guilty for how we are feeling emotionally. Then change it, and make
ourself feel better. Prayer is always encouraged, because it will
give you the comfort and answer you are in need of. Stay encourage.

HAPPY CHOICES, HEALTHIER LIFE!

In the November 2009 book called (Prevention)  Michelle Obama, had an exclusive interview with Prevention Editor-in Chief Liz Vaccariello. Michelle Obama, is truely an inspiration to life and healthy living.

A question was asked by Liz, (so what does good health mean for you?) Mrs. Obama's answer was, it's multifacted, it's physical, it's enternal, it's my diet, and my emotional state. It's all tied in together.

She really touched my heart, when she stated that throughout her life, she's learned to make choices that make her happy and make sense for her. I agreed with her, that personal happiness is connected to everything.

She say's, she has freed herself to put herself as the priority list, and say, yes. She can make choices that make her happy, that will not only affect her family but her physical health.

She say's, it hard for us women to own. I agree, because like she say's, we're not taught to do that. But we can learn, and when we do we will be happier and healthier as well. How we feel about ourself, will influence others in a negative or positive way.

DON'T FEEL GUILTY FOR DOING IT, LIFE IS ABOUT VARIETY. GET STARTED NOW, AND DON'T PROCRASTINATE. THIS WILL TAKE THE WEIGHT OFF OF YOU.

READ YOUR WAY TO HEALTH

I know there are a lot of health classes, seminars, opinions and such about how healthy you should be...what to eat and not eat. Sometimes it gets quite overwhelming...I have found that when I do what I know is right for me, I tend to follow my heart and not get so overwhelmed.

For many years, I was a victim of my environment and family tradition. I ate everything that ran across the ground; cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks whatever. That's all I knew, until one day I got sick and tired of being sick and tired...I educated myself. I changed! I changed my attitude, my diet and yes, some of my friends.

I began losing 'waste weight'. You know, those pounds that just seem to 'stick' to you? No matter how much you exercise--run, jump, ride the bike...those pounds just don't budge.

I was in the medical field for over 25 years. Needless to say, I saw a lot of sick people. Many from a lack of knowledge. I vowed that I didn't want to be like them. So I went on a quest to educate myself about getting healthy. I read my way to health, and changed my life style as well as exercise what I learned over the years. I feel so much better, and so free to be me.
